Tradition

From the earliest days of Christianity, special burial places were set aside, considered sacred and honored. This tradition of over 2,000 years is based on our foundational belief in the Resurrection of Jesus — those who have died with him in faith will rise again in hope. Burial in a Catholic cemetery is a reaffirmation of that faith and a statement proclaiming your belief in Christ's words — I am the Resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. (John 11:24)

For generations, the Milwaukee area Christian Faithful have answered this question in part by choosing Catholic Cemeteries. These Catholic Cemeteries exercise a ministry of service to parishes that continues uninterrupted since 1857. We are guided by the Catholic Church, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and the needs of those we serve.
