Mausoleum
Accounts Clerk
for the
Catholic Cemeteries
1946-2004
On Sunday, October 17, 2004, Dennis Swenor died. Dennis began working for the Catholic Cemeteries within the central administration in June of 2001. He handled all accounts pertaining to the purchase of crypts and niches, as well as their memorialization.
Dennis was precise, attentive to detail, steady and accurate. He managed a significant flow of paper with unfailing care and order. He would appear daily at his office at Holy Cross Cemetery toting his morning cup of coffee. His joviality and mischievous sense of humor were a constant sources of joy and enjoyment. Through a period of transition within the administration of the Cemeteries, he was reliable and responsible; he kept on top of situations and was foresighted in seeing what was ahead.
Dennis did whatever needed to be done to further the efficient and timely work of the Office at Holy Cross. We thank Dennis for his contributions and service over these years. We pay respectful tribute to him in this time of sadness.
We will miss him deeply. So, we entrust our friend and colleague Dennis to our good and gentle God that he may find true comfort and peaceful rest.
Our prayers and sympathy are with his wife Christine and his extended family.
Eternal rest grant unto Dennis, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
May the soul of Dennis Swenor and the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.
