You were perhaps, the greatest storyteller I have ever known. Your
love of children was inexhaustible and your natural comedic and
dramatic talent showed through nearly everything you did.
As children, we had the good fortune to be entertained in your
playroom - stocked with every toy imaginable. Thanks to you Aunt
Joe, we had dress up clothes, marionettes, fire engines, cars, toy
trains (that were small and some we could actually ride in or on)
and dolls of every sort (some with different heads and bodies that
appeared when you flipped them over).
There was nothing that you didn't have for us to play with, and
yet you could amuse us with a handkerchief folded into a baby or
a tall tale that we totally believed.
How lucky we were - everyone should have an Auntie Joe.
