Express your Love
Stories

Dear Daddy,

You are really missed. So many times I feel your presence at Mass, especially when I feel like I can put my arm thru yours like we used to do. There is no one who can ever take your place. Thank you for being you and for all you did for all of us kids and Mom, especially for Mom. None of us ever really appreciated all you did, including Mom, but we do now.

Love You...

Pat

Dear Pat,

On behalf of the Archdiocese, please accept our sympathy on the death of your "Daddy". Sounds like a special guy who had a special child. Of course you are correct when you say "There is no one who can ever take your place." That's what we here in the grief business call "love." May you always remember you are loved by your Father.
